Almost 80% of South Africans are Christians of some kind, but dozens of religions are practised in South Africa.  There are 11 official languages, and over 20 distinct cultural groups.  At times, the right all have to ‘enjoy their culture, practice their religion and use their language’ has clashed with other provisions in the Bill of Rights.
